Our Cleaning Process
1. We Arrive to Clean Your Bins
The day aftet your trash pick up, our truck will arrive to clean your bins! Be sure to leave your bins at the curb, in front of your garage or somewhere visible to our driver from the road!
2. Hot Water Rinse
After retreiving your bins, we will do a full 360 degree rinse on the outside of the bins. Your bins will then be placed in our hydraulic lifter for the next step!
3. Disinfect & Deodorize
Our cleaning heads use 200 degree hot water at 3000 psi to steam clean you bins! This process blasts away dirt & grime while killing harmful bacteria!
4. Enjoy Your Fresh Cans!
After the bins are finished, they will be sprayed with a deodorizer and returned. If you are a subscription customer, a Neighborhood Fresh Cans sticker placed on the front of your bin!

What is your service area?
We currently service most of the Dayton area down to northern Cincinnati, OH. When signing up, our system will let you know if we service your address!

Why don't you clean cans on trash day?
Due to the inconsistent time schedules of trash companies, we can always guarantee the next day your cans will be empty, and ready for a full cleaning and sanitizing service!
A few issues that make it hard for us to coordinate same-day cleaning:
- Multiple Trash Providers
- Different Can Types Picked Up at Different Times
- Alternating Recycle Schedules
- Unreliable or Delayed Routes
- Too Small of a Time Window (Late Pick-Up)
Our model is a scalable and reliable solution!

Do I have to leave my cans at the curb?
No! Because we clean your cans the day after trash pick up, you are welcome to bring the cans up to your house as long as they are accessible for us on scheduled cleaning days!

How will I know my cleaning days?
There are two ways that you can find your cleaning days:
• Log into your account: when you log onto your Neighborhood Fresh Cans account, click on the sidebar on the “Subscription details” tab to see your next cleaning date.
• Text alerts: We try to make it easier on you by sending text messages the day before your cleaning. When signing up, make sure to select that you want to receive SMS text messages for this feature to work.

When will I be charged for service?
Your first cleaning will be charged as soon as you finish signing up! For recurring service plans, your payment will be processed 3 days before each scheduled cleaning date.
